Tanel Demiray's Obituary:
DEMIRAY-Tanel, of New Hyde Park, NY on December 11, 2006. It is with great sorrow that we note the passing of this exceptional man, a few days after his 60th birthday, having fought a sudden and courageous battle with cancer. Devoted husband to Nia for 32 years, loving father of Tania and Lisa. Close confidant to brother Temel. Loyal sibling to sister Emel. Fantastic friend to so many. He was owner of the New York Bagel Stop in New Hyde Park, as well as president of Tanel Computer Consultants. Born in Turkey, Tanel was a man of many talents, always ready to help others, friends and strangers alike. He was loved and valued by all who knew him, and he will be sorely missed. Friends may visit Tuesday 2-4:30 and 7-9:30PM. at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park, NY www.nhfh.com . A religious service will be held Tuesday evening 9:00PM, at the funeral home. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, NY.
