The Bridges of Hope Project raises funds in the United States from individuals and institutions, and makes grants to nonprofits in Turkey to support the basic education of children. We invite you to invest in the future of children in Turkey and make a contribution** to the BOHP. There are a number of ways to donate:

2.  Join us at our next event.

The Bridges of Hope Project is fully committed to transparency, fairness and accountability . The BOHP will send you an acknowledgment of your gift for tax purposes. The BOHP will ensure the timely disbursements of BOHP grants to recipient non-profit organizations in Turkey. As our supporter, you will receive detailed information about the use of your donations, including progress reports from the recipient organizations.

** BOHP has been granted 501c3 tax exempt status by the IRS effective November 15, 2005. Thus, your donations will be fully tax-deductible.

Why Contribute to the BOHP?

·  Finding the right organization to support and making sure that your investment has a real impact can be tricky. The BOHP takes the guess work out of charity. We take great care in our due diligence of recipient organizations. Given our leverage as a potentially significant donor, we will request progress reports from our grantees in Turkey to ensure that your donation makes a difference in the lives of children.

·  By pooling our resources together through the BOHP and by making sizeable grants to projects in Turkey, we can make substantial changes in the lives of children in a school, town or neighborhood.

·  The Turkish-American community comes together around a common cause - the BOHP mobilizes the community and promotes communication, understanding, solidarity and social responsibility.

The Bridges of Hope Project is registered as a New York Not for Profit Corporation as of November 15, 2005 . BOHP has been granted 501c3 tax exempt status effective November 15, 2005. Donations to the BOHP will thus receive full tax exemption as provided by law.
